(leather jacket, Zara // dress, Talula Babaton)Another one behind us somehow. I'm burning out hard and fast. This week was exhausting.
I'm not sure what is going on with me, but I am tired all the time. I sleep well, so that's not the issue. I've been making sure to keep on top of my Vitamin D and B-complex levels to help increase my energy levels, but it doesn't seem to be working. B because, well, energy, and D because I read somewhere that low levels of Vitamin D (which we all are here in Canada) cause a drop in energy levels. Regardless, the supposed energy burst has yet to occur. My fatigue could very well be due to a lack of fuel. It's so hard to make sure that I'm eating enough while on the go. Likely, the amount that I am consuming doesn't match up anywhere near close enough to my activity level. This has never been an issue in the past though, so although it's a possibility, I'm sticking with the first reason (for now). I'm working on the food thing though.
In the way of meals, I should mention that the increased hours of daylight that we've been experiencing is throwing me off! I complained incessantly about the sun setting at 4PM for the longest time...It meant that I ate supper way earlier than usual and also went to bed even earlier. For me, dark = sleep. Now that the sun is up longer it's the total reverse situation. Later supper times because I'm so used to eating when it's dark, and uh, I'm still going to bed early (my old woman complex).
On the bright side of all of this burnt-out exhaustion, it sounds like I'll actually get to take a trip to San Francisco soon! We are talking about the beginning of May, which is perfect since I'll just have finished the term. Of course, now that this is becoming more than a maybe, I've been researching restaurants like mad. How much food can one person really eat in a week?

you could potentially be low in iron - that has a huge impact on energy levels. especially since you don't eat meat!
ReplyDeletePotentially. I am hesitant to take an iron supplement because I also take a calcium supplement. It would be a matter of taking them at different times during the day, I suppose.
